An exciting role has opened up in the Fundraising for Mission team as Key Relationships Officer. The Key Relationships Team is responsible for raising major gifts from individuals and trusts for Church Mission Society. As Key Relationships Officer, your focus will be to develop good relationships with existing donors and to identify new potential supporters who can give generously to Christian charities. Your role will be varied, including visiting donors, writing applications and reports and assisting with special events.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Experience of working in a trust and/or major gifts fundraising team
- Experience of building and maintaining donor relationships in the charity sector
- Strong research, administration and database knowledge
The Key Relationships Officer is a permanent, full time role (35 hours per week), with a starting salary of £26,675 per annum, and a generous pension scheme contribution. *Applications are also welcomed from candidates wanting to train in the trusts and major donor fields of fundraising. For this position, administrative experience in a customer service or client facing role, and excellent English writing skills are essential. In this case, the appointment would be made at Key Relationships Assistant level (see separate job description) and with a starting salary of £23,710 per annum.
It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian committed to Church Mission Society's values and aims. The post may be subject to safeguarding checks.
