In the day that I called to you, you answered me;
you put new strength in my soul. Psalm 138:3
From CMS-Africa: Thank God for a local partner who is recovering well since the horrendous attack he suffered in the hands of errant soldiers in Juba. Continue praying for the nation of South Sudan to experience peace as the Lord intervenes in the whole situation. The numbers of refugees as a result of the conflicts have continued are anything towards two million people, according to UNHCR.

As we highlighted last week, this Sunday 30 July sees this significant event in Khartoum. The Archbishop of Canterbury will be in attendance with a host of church leaders and guests, including CMS’s Stephen Burgess. This will be a follow-up training to the seminar that took place in April this year. Pray for all the participants who will attend this event, which aims to embed a biblical worldview of Monday-to-Saturday Christianity with the local church making an impact in their community using the resources they already have.
Mission partners needed for Asia!

Brazil short termers
Becky Reid (short termer, Revive in Recife, Brazil) was due to be married to Evaldo in September, but he was refused a marriage visa twice to enter the UK. They were due to be selected as a couple to be short termers with a view to mission partner selection next year. This has thrown their plans and cost them money. Please pray for a good solution, for Becky as she needs funding to return to Brazil and for Evaldo as he looks for work as a lawyer in Recife
