Are you an experienced editor and writer who wants to use your skills to get people excited about mission?
A new role has opened up as Senior Editorial Content Producer in the communications team. The person who takes on this role will help implement a comprehensive multi-platform content-driven communications plan so we are looking for someone who can handle a variety of writing and editing projects: managing key publications, commissioning and editing feature articles, creating leaflets, producing video scripts, drafting appeals...the list goes on.
This is a full time role (35 hours per week) with a starting salary of £30,085 per annum and a generous pension scheme contribution. The role will be based at CMS House, Oxford.
It is essential that the successful candidate be educated to degree level or equivalent, with at least three years of relevant editorial experience. The ideal candidate will have proven experience of excellent copywriting, with the ability to tailor writing to audience, proofread accurately and edit effectively.
It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian committed to Church Mission Society's values and aims. The post may be subject to safeguarding checks.
