Ukraine update 26 February
Latest from our local partners in Ukraine:
We are well, but are getting ready just in case they will try to attack us. We have 40 ppl with us here from the church that we were able to evacuate yesterday.
There is a big chance they will come to the village where we are today. They are trying to come into kiev, but all of the bridges were destroyed by our army, so they will try to come through the villages. And ours is on the way.
Also, we were cooking food and feeding our soldiers today. Our boys were able to come to them, praying for them and were able to witness to them.
We almost don’t sleep. Couple hours a day. We are praying all night, changing turns and in contact with our church members who stayed.

South Sudan: medical work
Ask God to help mission partner Nicci Maxwell as she works with CMS-Africa to establish medical outreach in communities severely affected by conflict, especially in the Baher el Ghazal region. Pray for protection for Nicci as she lives and works in Juba and travels further afield in South Sudan.
Tanzania: training programmes
Thank God for the 30 pastors who attended CMS-Africa programmes recently. Ask God to give the men and women wisdom and discernment as they engage in mission work and discipleship. Pray they will have energy and strength for their work and that more people will be drawn to their churches as they see the impact…
Ukraine: Kyiv killings
We are grateful to God that mission partner Alison Giblett is safe and unharmed following Russian strikes on the capital this week. Please pray for God’s mercy and grace for people who are hurt and grieving and continue to pray for the bloodshed to cease and for peace to prevail.
UK: community shed
Give thanks that the Community Shed has become a vital outreach project in the heart of Carlisle. And praise God for the mental and spiritual healing of attendees.
