I live in a part of Egypt where there has been much persecution of Christians. In spite of this, God has given me a passion and a love for sharing the gospel in different places.

I work with different churches and individuals around the country to organise evangelism events. I then travel and speak at these events. I have also organised mission trips and evangelism campaigns in Sudan. From time to time, I am involved in carrying out baptisms.

Habeeb’s story

I was born in Upper Egypt. I attended the Brethren church. One day, in an evangelistic meeting, God touched my heart and I decided to follow Christ. My father used to preach in villages and this impacted me. This gave me the desire to go and preach the gospel.

In addition, I had other friends who visited Sudan on mission and when they told me stories, I was inspired.

I live in a town where there is both Christians and Muslims. Even though I have faced many challenges for sharing the gospel, it is my heart’s desire to see my fellow Arab brothers come to Christ. I thank God for bringing me my wife who also has a heart to see people become saved.

I am very encouraged to be part of the Church Mission Society team because it means I am not alone. I feel very blessed to have people praying for me.
