Please continue to pray for Venezuela following disputed election results from the recent presidential elections. Official results have showed a victory for incumbent President Nicolas Maduro but most international observers were prevented from fulfilling their role and vote tallies collected by the opposition indicate that their candidate Edmundo Gonzalez obtained a significant victory. Many countries in Latin America and beyond have refused to accept the official results, believing electoral fraud to have occurred. There have been many protests and many protestors have been arrested. Please pray for the will of the Venezuelan people to be reflected, for peace in the country and for the well-being of the population, millions of whom have left the country over recent years.
