Asia-CMS ask for prayer for Bangladesh, where student protests seeking reform of the government’s job quota system escalated into nationwide riots over the past few weeks, leading to at least 300 deaths and forcing out Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Pray for the issues behind the riots to be resolved, for unfairly jailed protestors to be released and a return to normality.
CMS-Africa ask for prayer for Rev Samuel Atsali as he delivers theological training in Assosa, near the border with South Sudan, alongside mission partner Chris Wilson. Pray for safe travels for Samuel and Chris, for them to communicate clearly and powerfully and for their students to connect well with the teaching.
