Come and join us at Big Church Festival or Greenbelt this bank holiday

Church Mission Society staff will be hitting the road and heading to both Big Church Festival and Greenbelt over the August bank holiday weekend (22–24 August).
At Big Church Festival (formerly Big Church Day Out), the team will host a stand to inspire festivalgoers with stories of life at the edges and ways to play their part in God’s mission.
Meanwhile at Greenbelt, Harvey Kwiyani, the leader of the Acts 11 Project on Global Witness and Human Migration, will be part of a panel about decolonising mission.
This is also the new theme of Harvey’s forthcoming book, Decolonising Mission, due out in August from SCM Press. It looks at the connection between colonialism and mission and invites us to realign our missional methods with God’s.
CMS will have a stand at Greenbelt and the Pioneer Mission Training team will also be connecting with current and potential students.
