Safeguarding and whistleblowing

Safeguarding and whistleblowing

Safeguarding

Church Mission Society works in over 50 countries in partnership with many different organisations. We believe that every child or adult we come into contact with has the right to be protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect and exploitation.

We recognise that abuse can take different forms and that it can happen in any social, religious and cultural setting. We believe in the safe recruitment and training of all our staff. As such CMS takes extremely seriously any allegation, disclosure or concern of abuse and is committed to providing a safe and flourishing environment.

Whistleblowing

We believe that it is important that any malpractice, fraud, misconduct or wrongdoing by staff, volunteers or others working on behalf of the charity, is reported and properly dealt with without fear of reprisal.
