Will you help raise up more local leaders for mission?

As Jesus says in Matthew 9:37 – the mission fields are ripe for harvest, but more workers are needed. And in remote places, like the Chaco region on Argentina and Paraguay’s borders, the urgency is clear. As more people are finding faith in Jesus, the need for local leaders is rising.

“Then he said to his disciples, ‘The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’”

Matthew 9:37-38

Indigenous leader Mirna is pictured above with former CMS mission partners, Catherine Le Tissier and Nick Drayson, both of whom worked for many years to encourage and empower local people for leadership.

Mirna is from the Wichí people in Northern Argentina. Today, she is an inspiring and highly dedicated leader of mission work that’s happening in extremely impoverished communities. She is absolutely passionate about seeing present and future generations following Jesus.

“I have great hope that this ministry will continue to grow with the indigenous peoples.” Mirna says. With your support, this vitally important work can achieve even more for God’s Kingdom, as more local leaders like Mirna are raised up.

  • £25 could help train an indigenous local partner to be a leader in their community.
  • £50 could help develop a course specifically designed for indigenous Christian leaders and the unique challenges they face.
  • £100 could go towards travel costs for indigenous leaders to visit churches and communities that are far away and difficult to reach.

Please send a gift now, and pray for more people to be raised up as leaders for mission.
