This event takes place in a beautiful rural setting, the parish church at Berwick, Sussex – “a spiritual sanctuary, a place of retreat, creativity and reflection” – decorated by the Bloomsbury artists Duncan Grant, Vanessa Bell and Quentin Bell.

In this sanctuary may we encounter God’s healing presence. We may also (re)discover that the sanctuary of God’s presence is always close, even within us, and so may be a gift to all as we return into our beautiful but battered world.

Hosted by CMS Lay Pioneer Jane Perry, with reflections by CMS Spirituality Lead Ian Adams.
