Please pray for countries in Latin America in transitions of leadership at present.

Argentina has been struggling with rampant inflation for years and new president, Javier Milei, has taken office promising shock treatment for the country’s economy and that things will get worse before they get better.

In Guatemala, president-elect Bernardo Arévalo’s election win is being challenged by prosecutors in what is seen by many as an attempt to prevent him implementing anti-corruption policies. He is due to assume the presidency in January. Please pray that in both these countries these transitions will lead to better governance and for leadership to serve the population and to be guided by God.
