Brazil: flooding and disease outbreak

The state of Rio Grande do Sul suffered flooding in April and May, killing more than 165 people and displacing over half a million. Now, the region is dealing with an outbreak of waterborne leptospirosis disease due to contaminated water. Four people have died and the state has confirmed a total of 54 cases. Pray for people to have access to safe water as well as food and shelter.
