Colombia: female genital mutilation

Praise God that Colombia recently made female genital mutilation (FGM) illegal – the first country in Latin America to do so [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c3r0vp7n0pro]. Mission partner Ann-Marie Wilson works with Orchid Project to end the harmful and needless practice in every country where it is still practised. Pray for the efforts of Ann-Marie and others to continue to impact leaders and decision-makers so that the practice can be eradicated in more countries around the world and for more girls to be spared.
