DR Congo: attack in Komanda
Local partner Bisoke Balikenga has shared that an Islamist rebel group killed more than 40 people (including nine children) in Komanda at the beginning of this week. Most of those who lost their lives were taking part in a night vigil at a church. Komanda is only 73 kilometres from Bunia, where Bisoke runs a peace centre. He personally knew some of those who lost their lives. Bisoke writes, “Please, brothers and sisters, we still need your prayers.” Pray for God’s comfort for all those affected by this attack, and for God’s peace to come to DR Congo.
