DR Congo: ceasefire

6 February 2025

Please keep praying for eastern DRC, where a unilateral ceasefire started this past week. Pray for the ceasefire to hold and for humanitarian organisations to be able to safely provide food, medical supplies and other basic items to people on the ground. Pray for lines of communication to open up in order to find a lasting solution and for a lasting peace for this nation.

Pray too for the eight Congolese students from the Goma area currently studying with CMS Pioneer Mission Training. They all reported safe and hope to continue their studies.

Pray too for the Goma Call for Peace to be widely shared on social media. Mission partner Martin Gordon along with others has launched a petition on Change.org.
