DR Congo: ongoing discussions

On Tuesday 7 May a roundtable discussion will bring together a number of people involved in making disciples in contexts affected by conflict to consider “The Role of Women and Youth in Implementing Wholistic Discipleship Programmes in eastern DRC”. This gathering will create space to share case studies on the pivotal role played by women and youth in implementing wholistic community transformation programmes and to explore ways of enhancing the impact of these programmes.

Three women in leadership in DRC, all with years of experience in this context, will be joined by three young people to share their own stories. Please pray for this gathering: for those sharing their experience and stories as they prepare, for all joining to be encouraged and inspired to act, and for the conversations to lead into fruitful action.
