DR Congo: peace for a nation
It is now two months since the war came to Kasenyi, close to the peace centre run by local partner Bisoke Balikenga in Bunia. More lives have been lost and more people have been displaced and arrived at the peace centre. Bisoke writes, “We never know if the war can reach Bunia. Many people have lost hope and they told me that they need only peace.” Praise God for the work he is doing through the peace centre – providing a place of refuge where church leaders from different people groups can build bridges and those who need it can receive counselling. Pray for church leaders across the country as many people continue to turn to them for practical support, and pray for peace to come to this nation.
