DR Congo roundtable: give thanks

Thank you for praying for the roundtable in DRC that took place on Tuesday, focused on women and youth making disciples in conflict areas.

CMS manager in Africa Joan Busolo gives thanks for the connections made and the birthing of friendships among different organisations and the realisation that they have shared visions.

Joan is also grateful for the testimonies shared including a former militiaman testifying of God’s love and becoming a vessel for peace and reconciliation. Pray for the ongoing conversations among organisations and the development of possible partnerships.

Due to more heavy rain, river levels are again rising in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, where flooding had already taken 150 lives and displaced over 150,000 people. Please pray for the people of Brazil and particularly Rio Grande do Sul as they try to recover from this tragedy.
