DR Congo, Sudan, South Sudan: the things that make for peace

CMS and CMS-Africa have been developing approaches to making disciples in contexts where the Church and Christians struggle to exist. In Africa, we have initially identified conflict zones as a major context for mission at the edges. To this end, we are focused on DR Congo, Sudan and South Sudan. CMS-Africa report: “This month, we are organising a stakeholders’ consultation for South Sudan from 26 to 28 May in Wau. It will bring together church leaders, partners and people in mission. Pray for the planning and the deliberations. Our country coordinator, Joseph Noel, and the Archbishop of the Internal Province of Northern Bahr El Ghazal and bishop of Wau Diocese are helping with the arrangements…. Pray for this event. We target to have around 35 people: 18 have confirmed attendance. Pray for safe travels for CMS-Africa leaders Moses Bushendich and Karobia Njogu, who will be together with Joan Busolo, the new CMS manager for Africa, who is based in Kenya.”
