Please pray for Ecuador, which is experiencing a huge upsurge in violence as drug gangs battle for control of drug trafficking routes across the country. A recent bombing in Guayaquil, a major city, marked a particular turn of tactics and violence, and there have been hundreds of deaths in battles in prisons. Please pray for protection for CMS’s people in mission in the country, and for peace throughout the nation.
Mission partners Sarah and Simon Cawdell will soon be travelling to Gulu, Uganda, where Sarah will take up the role of principal of Archbishop Janani Luwum Theological College. Please pray for Sarah and Simon as they prepare to leave England, relocate to Uganda and settle into their new context and roles in Gulu.
