Ecuador protests

Pray for Ecuador which has been rocked by more than a week of protests led by indigenous groups demanding fuel price reductions and an increase in education spending. Protests began with road blockades across the country and at times have turned violent. Some basic supplies are beginning to run very low. Please pray for dialogue, compromise and a peaceful solution to the situation soon. Remember CMS’s people in mission who serve in Ecuador – Bev Cannon de Pinos and Sharon Wilcox (currently in the UK) – and all those who they serve alongside.

Ecuador, Peru: heavy rains

Please pray for all those who have been affected by heavy rains across the region. In Peru and Ecuador many have died as a result of flooding and landslides, infrastructure has been destroyed and crops have been lost. Many are without work and some communities are completely cut off.
