Ethiopia: refugee camps in need of theological education

5 November 2026

Mission partners Chris and Suzy Wilson have served with CMS for 10 years in Ethiopia. In the past 50 years there has been a rapid growth of Christianity among South Sudanese refugees. As churches expand in refugee camps, and with many refugees spending several decades living in camps, a clear need has arisen for theological training that is faithful, accessible and contextually grounded. Please pray for Christians who have been displaced from their homes, for refugees leading church communities in challenging situations and for wisdom for Chris and Suzy as they partner with them.
