Honduras: progress on many fronts
Mission partners Lindsey and Steve Poulson write that a visiting mission team from the US helped begin a new barber shop, which will provide employment and training for young people and provide a small income for Proyecto Alas itself.
Secondly, the coffee shop, Cafe Alas, continues to thrive and is now in the capable hands of a local manager, Carlos, who is one of the top baristas in Honduras and has many years of management experience.
In addition, Lindsey and Steve write that they have now opened the children’s library and that the children and young people were very pleased with the cosy space where they can now go to read when they visit the mentoring centre.
We thank God for the exciting things he is doing in Honduras.
