India: conflict in Manipur

Former CMS mission partners Kailean and Kim Khongsai, originally from Manipur, ask for prayer for people in the area, where conflict has been ongoing since early May and left 50,000 people displaced, over 140 dead and thousands injured. Pray for the many who have been displaced and injured, for help to reach them. Pray for international agencies to put pressure on the Indian government and for the ruling government to actively seek justice, reconciliation and healing for the affected people. Pray for Kailean and Kim’s parents, who are caught up in the conflict and have been forced to flee their homes. Pray too for Kailean and Kim who are far away from their families and unable to help practically during this difficult time.
