Lebanon: situation spiralling

Mission partners Nabil and Sarah Shehadi write that the devaluation of Lebanon’s currency and soaring inflation have brought 80 per cent of the country below the poverty line. Food insecurity is also at a new high as Lebanon imports 90 per cent of its wheat from Ukraine and Russia. Pray for the people of Lebanon.

Nabil and Sarah also ask for prayer for the right people to join the Alpha team as new members are recruited in line with Alpha’s vision to reach 100 million people by Easter 2023.

Ecuador, Peru: heavy rains

Please pray for all those who have been affected by heavy rains across the region. In Peru and Ecuador many have died as a result of flooding and landslides, infrastructure has been destroyed and crops have been lost. Many are without work and some communities are completely cut off.
