Middle East: migraines, Bible translation

Last week we requested prayer for mission partners J and R’s work of Bible translation and particularly for J as he deals with migraines and was struggling to get the right medication. Thank you for praying – due to a combination of good medical advice and receiving a good supply of medication, the migraines have ceased. Please pray for J and R and those they are working with as they re-record an audio version of Luke’s Gospel in the language they work with, as the first recording was not as good quality as they had hoped. Pray that they can get to the bottom of the problem and solve it so that the audio version of Luke is as accessible as possible.

Tensions have escalated between India and Pakistan recently and there are concerns that this could lead to a war. Pray for people on both sides of the conflict to be moved towards reconciliation and for peace between these two nations.

Middle East: an end to the war

Please pray for peace in the Middle East. Pray for God to move people’s hearts towards peace and for people on both sides of the Israel–Hamas war to be eager to work towards a permanent ceasefire. Pray for relief for all those who are suffering, and for aid to reach those who need it.
