Paraguay: indigenous voices

From our partners in Paraguay: “We give thanks for the Énxet pastors and church leaders from the Paraguayan Chaco who were able to take part in the indigenous [mission] congress [in October]…. We give thanks that we all got there and back safely….Give thanks for the spiritual refreshment received and fellowship with indigenous brothers and sisters from Chile, Argentina, Peru, Boliva, Paraguay and Panamá.” Work continues on a shared declaration from this important gathering – pray for this process and that the world will take notice of the struggles as well as the gifts of indigenous Christians in Latin America.

Ecuador, Peru: heavy rains

Please pray for all those who have been affected by heavy rains across the region. In Peru and Ecuador many have died as a result of flooding and landslides, infrastructure has been destroyed and crops have been lost. Many are without work and some communities are completely cut off.
