Local partner Bishop Hassan James asks for prayer for peace and stability in Sudan. Pray for reconciliation between families, among communities and across tribes, leading to peace throughout the country. Pray for the Sudanese church as it seeks to share the gospel, disciple people and bring God’s Kingdom against a backdrop of fighting, famine and displacement. Pray for people’s desperation to cause them to have open hearts to Jesus and be ready to hear the gospel.
CMS-Africa ask for prayer for Rev Samuel Atsali as he delivers theological training in Assosa, near the border with South Sudan, alongside mission partner Chris Wilson. Pray for safe travels for Samuel and Chris, for them to communicate clearly and powerfully and for their students to connect well with the teaching.
