Turkey: fighting female genital mutilation (FGM)
Mission partner Ann-Marie Wilson visited Turkey in October as part of her work of researching the prevalence of, and putting a stop to, FGM. Ann-Marie’s research uncovered a higher-than-expected prevalence of FGM in Turkey due to a high population of diaspora from Sudan, Somalia and other Middle Eastern/Asian countries. Please pray for Ann-Marie and the team as they prepare a report on the country and for the report to make it clear to people in power that FGM needs to be stopped.
