Let us pray with mission partner Nicci Maxwell that the Ebola outbreak in central Uganda, which has spread to the capital, Kampala, is rapidly brought under control and will not cause widespread chaos and shutdowns again. Pray for Nicci herself, who is struggling with post-Covid fatigue. Pray for Nicci to be back to full strength soon and that she will be able to manage her workload effectively to avoid becoming exhausted.
A ceasefire came into force on Monday evening and the last few days has seen relative peace for the first time in five weeks, though sporadic artillery fire can still be heard in Khartoum, according to residents. Please pray for the ceasefire to hold and for peace to come to this nation.
