Awais Mughal, mission partner in Leeds, writes that six Sudanese learners have joined the English class she teaches, alongside her existing Eritrean, Afghani and Iraqi students. Coming from such different language backgrounds, it is not always easy for members of the group to communicate with each other. Awais writes, “Despite these challenges, all students are committed to improving their language skills. Please keep them in your prayers; may the Lord bless their hard work and give them strength and assurance of his presence in this challenging time. And may the Lord give me wisdom to know how to help and support them.”
