Ukraine update 25 February
Our local partner Anya, serving in the cities and villages of Ukraine to inspire churches to reach out to their communities with Jesus’ love, asks us to pray…
1. Pray God will protect the people of Ukraine, that violence will stop and peace will reign.
2. Pray for our church family, some of whom are still trying to get out of Kyiv.

There have been 220 suspected deaths from Ebola since an outbreak was declared in DR Congo on 15 May. Pray for ongoing protection for CMS partner Bisoke Balikenga and his colleagues, and for those they minister to through a peace centre in Bunia. Lebanon: ongoing conflict
Southern Lebanon has recently been hit by waves of Israeli strikes. At least 11 people have died as a result of the latest strikes, according to the Lebanese health ministry. In Tyre, residents are being urged to evacuate in anticipation of more strikes. Pray for God to turn hearts to peace and ultimately for resolution.
Middle East: training for young Christian leaders
CMS partners are providing training for Christian leaders from Muslim backgrounds in the region next week, 4–7 June. Pray for safety in travel and for all participants to come away empowered, envisioned and built up for the next phase of their ministry.
Tanzania: sharing the gospel despite challenges
