Formerly mission associates in Colombia, now the Hays family live and work in the USA. “It is a bit counterintuitive,” says Michelle Hays, “but weirdly, as a missionary in Raleigh, North Carolina, I am regularly interacting with people from all over the globe. Just this month I have spent meaningful time with families from Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Venezuela, Colombia, Somalia, Afghanistan, and the Democratic Republic of Congo.” Give thanks for her work welcoming refugees and pray for all who are doing the same, including here in the UK.
