Britain: pioneer students
Please pray for the pioneer team as they recruit students for the next academic year for all our courses and especially for our new African Christianity Undergraduate Certificate as well as our African Christianity MA. Please also pray for our current students as they prepare to come back to study.
Britain: rest and refreshment
Many CMS people in mission and staff members are taking time off over the summer to rest and recharge. Pray for times of fun and refreshment both alone and with family and friends.
Spain and North Africa: travelling
A mission partner couple serving in Spain and North Africa are in the US until the beginning of September, visiting churches and people who support their ministry in the Arab world. Please pray for good connections with churches and individuals and for good health and safety as they travel through different states.
Ethiopia: ethnic tension
Mission partners Chris and Suzy Wilson ask for prayer for Gambella. The last month has seen a significant increase in ethnic tension and killings in the region. Please pray for peace and for the churches there at this time.
Ecuador: assassination

Please pray for CMS manager in Latin America Paul Tester and director of mission Andy Roberts as they travel to Brazil to visit people in mission. Pray for them to bring encouragement to those they spend time with and to be encouraged themselves by what they see God is doing in this country.
Ukraine: rebuilding a home
Progress is being made on Alison’s flat, which was badly damaged by fire over a year ago. Praise God for all those from Alison’s church who have been assisting in different ways.

Tanzania: best summer season yet
Mission partner Heather Johnstone reports that the Rehema Project’s café and shop have had their best summer season yet due to two large UK school groups. Praise God for this huge blessing. Pray for more tourists to come so the Rehema women can continue to provide for their families.
