Business Analyst

If so, we have a fixed term opportunity to combine your analytical strengths and project management expertise in supporting CMS’s senior leadership team to develop and deliver our future strategy.

Church Mission Society is currently undergoing a strategic review to ensure that our approach to mission is fit for the next generation. The outcome of this work will be clearer organisational alignment around an agreed strategic focus, and organisational clarity that will improve the sustainability of our work, financially and otherwise. This role will specifically support the development and delivery of the strategic review process, providing the project team with relevant data, analysis and project management expertise to assist in the development of the future strategy and the associated implementation work.

The post-holder will be working closely with the Deputy Chief Executive officer and the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) in providing support with the strategic review process, ensuring that working groups are supported with relevant information, conducting analysis of data, and bringing project management expertise and associated administrative support. The post-holder will need to lead and facilitate meetings with key internal stakeholders, providing the framework and support to ensure that work is completed within project timescales.

It is essential that the successful candidate has a graduate qualification or equivalent experience, as well as significant experience in business analysis, identifying problems and opportunities, enabling/supporting organisational change, project management and process improvement.

It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian and be committed to the vision, aims and values of CMS.

This is a 12 months and full-time fixed term maternity cover post based in Oxford with a starting salary of between £30,690 and £32,690 per annum depending on experience, and a generous pension scheme contribution.
