Showing God’s love through practical teaching Give thanks for the opportunity for CMS-Africa to show God’s love by welcoming people of other faiths onto courses such as a budgeting and stewardship course, a course to help young adults develop their giftings and start earning money and, women’s empowerment training. Mama Rehema, a woman who had been abandoned by her husband, did women’s empowerment training with CMS-Africa in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, before forming a savings group with other women. Each member contributes money and once a month, one group member is given a loan to start a business. Christian members of the group chose to let their Muslim sisters, including Mama Rehema, have the first loans. With this support, Mama Rehema began a business making ladies’ bags and now testifies to God’s provision through Christian love. Pray for CMS-Africa to continue to be a witness to God’s generosity, and for people of other faiths to encounter God’s love and biblical truths through other participants as well as the content of the courses.
