South Asia: teaching

Mission partner F in South Asia gives thanks for a fruitful and encouraging visit to another city for seminars with youth, women, pastors and church members. F also asks for prayer as she will start teaching weekly classes this Friday at two local Bible colleges.

UK: Africa conference

This weekend CMS’s Africa conference takes place at CMS House in Oxford. Please pray for an encouraging time of sharing together. Please pray in particular for all of the organisational details to come together, for safe travel for supporters attending and that all would be inspired by what God is doing across Africa.

Today sees the end of a gathering of CMS staff and people in mission who are in the UK. Please give thanks for time together and pray for safe travels home for all those who have been attending. Pray also for encouragement as people continue to share the love of Jesus back in their contexts.

Taiwan: new president

Catherine Lee, mission partner in Taiwan, says, “Thanks to you all for your concern and prayers this past weekend – I’m thankful for safe and smooth elections and for the peaceful election of a new president, President Lai.” Please continue to pray for a period of transition ahead of the inauguration on 20 May.
