Key Church Relationships Lead

- Permanent / Part-time (28 hours per week)
- Flexible working – the role requires travelling with occasional office visits.
- Starting salary £26,560-£28,292 pro-rata per annum (£33,200-35,365 FTE) depending on experience, with a generous pension contribution: up to 10 per cent employer contribution on annual salary.

Your role
We are looking for a proactive person to build valuable and beneficial relationships with the most strategic churches and key church leaders, and represent CMS to leverage funding and support opportunities. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing key relationships with dioceses throughout the Church of England, in particular with key senior clergy such as Bishops and Cathedral Deans, and representing CMS at key events. This is a national role and requires regular travelling.

What you’ll need to succeed
The appointed candidate will have proven experience of building and maintaining excellent relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders in a fundraising and/or marketing environment, including excellent presentation skills in a church context. Proven Church and/or Individual fundraising experience with results is essential.
It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian, enthusiastic about the aims and values of CMS.
