  • Permanent, full-time post (35 hours a week)
  • Based at CMS House, Oxford, with up to two days’ flexibility for home working (currently CMS employees are working from home three to four days a week)
  • Starting salary £37,885 to £41,865 depending on experience, with a generous pension contribution: up to 15 per cent employer contribution on annual salary

Your role

You will lead and shape Church Mission Society’s key relationships fundraising strategy, by inspiring, informing and engaging vital Christian audiences, including major donors, churches and trusts, with CMS’s purpose to make disciples of Jesus in unexpected places and spaces. You will build on the good work that has been done in this area by helping us get to know these audiences more, strengthening relationships and increasing income and engagement among existing and new supporters.

What you’ll need to succeed

The successful candidate will have a marketing or fundraising background, and be an engaging communicator, an adept project manager and a relational leader. You will have proven experience of leading teams and projects and meeting income targets. You’ll be adaptable and analytical, with an open and inquisitive nature.

It is also a requirement for this post holder to be a committed and practising Christian, enthusiastic about the aims and values of CMS.
