Discipleship in North Africa

MISSION OPPORTUNITIES

Discipleship in North Africa

Do you speak Arabic, Farsi or Kurdish and have a passion for discipleship?

Our partners in North Africa are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can train others in delivering essential discipleship material to new Christians across the region.

This role requires the applicant to be fluent in either Arabic, Farsi or Kurdish in order to be fully effective in this ministry.

You must be a mature Christian with experience in discipleship and/or mentoring.

Safeguarding

We are committed to the safeguarding and protection of the people we serve, our partners, our volunteers, and our staff. We believe that every child or adult we come into contact with has the right to be protected from all forms of harm and abuse. Our recruitment and selection processes are in line with our Safeguarding Policy and the SCHR Misconduct Disclosure Scheme, which CMS is a member of as part of our commitment to safeguarding.

Values

Our core values of being pioneering, relational, faithful and evangelistic are integral to everything we do, and we work hard to ensure that every member of staff is valued, supported and encouraged to continually learn and develop their skills.

To apply

Church Mission Society places individuals, couples and families in over 45 countries around the world as we seek to make disciples at the edges. Our placements are self-funding with extensive support in fundraising given to those who serve long-term (four years or longer). All placements are subject to DBS clearance. Church Mission Society is only able to directly test the calling of those who are rooted in UK/European churches.

Terms and conditions depend upon the location of each opening and the duration of the placement offered. Short-term opportunities (four months to two years) are self-funded, with CMS offering residential, cross-cultural training. Long-term mission partners serve for four to six years minimum.
