Gap Year: Indian immersion

Your gap year

Wander/Wonder year title - a hand holding a compass
This placement is part of our unique new Wonder gap year experience.

Are you looking for an opportunity to spend between four months and a year overseas serving God? Do you want to see the world but also invest in making it better?

A gap year with Church Mission Society could be the answer.

In Bangalore, South India, our partners are involved in youth work, drug abuse prevention and discipleship, especially amongst the most vulnerable.

Church Mission Society is recognised by Global Connections as operating under the Code of Best Practice in Short-Term Mission 2019 and 2020

Particularly useful skills would include music, dance and drama but a willingness to come alongside people is what’s most important.

We have a number of gap year placements around the world working alongside our long term partners so whatever time you give will be spent investing into something that will continue long after you return home.
