Church Leader in South East Asia

Are you a church leader with a missional heart? Are you adventurous, joyful and pastoral?

We are looking for a new pastor for a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic church in SE Asia. The church is working towards receiving official recognition from the state, which is a requirement for local believers to attend this church. In the meantime, the church has been ministering to expats in the region and beyond. The church has also been expanding her ministry to the local community through service and kindness.

This is a unique opportunity for a trained minister, with or without family, to take a local international church to the next level. The successful candidate would work alongside Asia-CMS and Church Mission Society in implementing our new regional strategy. A minimum commitment of five years will be remunerated according to local living standards. Beyond that, CMS will work with the appointee to ensure that appropriate prayer and financial support are in place.

Stirred to act? Then contact for further details and to begin the journey today.

CMS places individuals, couples and families in over 45 countries around the world as we seek to share the love of Jesus and see our world transformed. Our placements are self-funding with extensive support in fundraising given to those who serve long-term (4+ years). All placements are subject to DBS clearance.

Terms and conditions depend upon the location of each opening and the duration of the placement offered. Short-term opportunities (4 months to 2 years) are self-funded, with CMS offering residential, cross-cultural training. Long-term mission partners serve for 4-6 years minimum. We work on a fully resourced basis to ensure your funding, learning and support are in place together, through connecting to local churches and your wider networks. Individualised learning plans are developed for preparation and during service for those on long-term service.
