Ecuador: opportunity for young adults with learning difficulties
Sharon Wilcox, a mission partner in Santo Domingo, works with young adults with learning disabilities through the Orchid Project, helping them gain skills and become more independent. Sharon helped to launch a separate Orchid Project in Cuenca in 2023, but this project’s only student unfortunately left this autumn. Pray for young adults who would benefit
South Africa: new theology course starting
We give thanks with Caroline and Dick Seed for the online Postgraduate Diploma in Higher Theological Education, which is starting this month with 13 students from across Africa and one from Chile. Pray for Dick as he teaches the first course to students online from 9–21 February. Pray for good learning and spirituality, for the students
South East Asia: ceasefire
A Thailand-Cambodia ceasefire was agreed at the end of December, ending weeks of border clashes that forced nearly one million people from their homes. Praise God that the ceasefire is still in place. Please pray for lasting peace between the two countries and for civilians to be able to safely return to their homes.
