New Housing conversation day – Oxford
10am, Thursday 18 May
Ali Boulton and associates host a day for experienced practitioners as well as people just starting out with a Christian response to new housing developments.
The New Housing Hub and Church Mission Society are hosting a New Housing Conversation Day at CMS House in Oxford on Thursday 18 May.
The day will have a ‘soft’ start at 10.00am with registration and refreshments, with a ‘formal’ start at 10.30am – we aim to finish at 4pm.
As well as spending some time all together, we will be facilitating different streams during the day for existing new housing practitioners and enablers and for those exploring and new to this area.
For those already engaging in new housing we will offer creative opportunities to share, support and encourage one another and theologically reflect together on live aspects of your current experience (this will build on the time 30+ of us spent together at Swanwick in March 2022).
For those exploring, just starting engaging in, or simply wondering about, a Christian response to new housing – whether as a practitioner or enabler – there will be some training and resources to get started and hopefully inspire you and the people you work with.
There will be opportunities for networking and making friends with others engaging in this area over lunch – which will be provided.
