The churches’ presence in the community is noticeable, but there is little transformation taking place due to the fact that the church is ill equipped; this leads to the church missing opportunities to serve. My approach would be to equip the church for transformational ministry.
My role would be to facilitate training of pastors and church leaders/church through the Samaritan Strategy [helping churches to 'love their neighbourhood' with the resources they already have]. To do follow up to see the implementation of the training, network with other trainers who are doing Samaritan Strategy. And to mobilise the church for Samaritan Strategy vision casting and training.
