Dupe Adefala
Dupe Adefala is a Chevening Scholar with a focus on women in leadership, a pastor, chaplain, and community leader with extensive experience in ministry, leadership development and transformational community engagement.
She is the founding pastor of Word Fountain Christian Ministries (UK), a church and registered charity established in Oxford in 2002. She serves as chaplain to MA students at Church Mission Society (CMS), including those on the African Christianity pathway. She was appointed as a trustee of CMS in 2025.
Dupe also serves on the Global Executive Committee of International Ministers Fellowship (IMF), co-leading the Directorate of Youth and Next Generation with her husband. With a professional background in accounting, she has worked in leading organisations in Nigeria and the UK, and previously served for over 15 years as a managing chaplain within the UK Immigration Detention and Prison Estate.
She holds an Advanced Diploma in Biblical and Theological Studies from Regent’s Park College, Oxford, and an MA in Pioneering Mission accredited by Durham University.
Dupe is the author of The Mystery of Marriage and Iyaniwura. She is married and blessed with adult children.
