Many of our students feel a million miles away from starting academic study when they make contact with us. If you have an inkling Pioneer Mission Training might be for you, then just make contact. We can help you work out which course is right for you.

References and interview
We need one reference, ideally from your church leader. For ordinands, this part of the process will already be taken care of.
You’ll also have an interview, usually on Zoom but they can be arranged in person in Oxford. This is normally with your course leader and will help confirm whether this is the right course of study for you.
Offer letter
If your application is successful we’ll write to you offering you a place.

Fees – monthly payment plan
When you accept your place, you need to pay a deposit. Following that, you’ll be sent an invoice for the remainder of the first year’s fees. You can pay this as a lump sum or set up a monthly standing order.
Induction
At the start of the academic year, you’re invited to join your fellow pioneer students for two induction days. This is a fantastic chance to get to know each other and to meet more of the CMS team. You’ll learn all the essential information you’ll need for studying and be introduced to our virtual learning environment.
