Archbishop of Canterbury’s resignation

In the wake of the resignation of the Archbishop of Canterbury, who has been our patron since taking office in 2013, we join in prayer for the victims and survivors of abuse everywhere, especially in church settings. Protecting people from abuse is central to the whole mission of the Church. We pray that Archbishop Justin’s decision will prove a defining step towards making the Church a truly safe place.

Praying together

We have the joy of being a praying community online and offline. Here is today’s prayer from Prayerlines, our daily, printed prayer guide.

Today’s prayer

“Devonport is a challenging place. Please pray that we are able to meet the needs of those we are in touch with, the families and especially those who use the Food Club,” writes Ruth Sayers, a mission partner and church worker in Plymouth. Pray for those who use the Food Club to find acceptance and understanding as well as provisions.
