Today, specifically, we praise God for what he is doing among a people group scattered throughout villages [in the foothills of the Himalayas](https://churchmissionsociety.org/stories/church-on-the-move-in-north-india/ "in the foothills of the Himalayas"). This people group is classed as unreached (by the gospel), and the villages where they live are also almost unreachable geographically, due to the mountainous terrain. However, in recent years, 4,000–5,000 members of this people group have decided to follow Jesus.
